Linda McCartney Tribute “Let Us In Nashville” Out Now

On Monday, November 7th, CMA week officially kicked off at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium with a special benefit concert held for The Women and Cancer Fund; a non-for-profit charity established in the memory of Linda McCartney.

The event, led by Reviver Music to raise awareness and proceeds for the charity, had Sir Paul’s whole-hearted blessing, and was hosted by actor/musician Jeff Daniels. The night was never void of stars, and featured exclusive performances by Sarah Darling, SHeDAISY, Steel Magnolia, Phil Vassar, Cheyenne Kimball, Juliana Cole, Jeff Daniels, Nikki Shannon Fernandez, Jordyn Shellhart, Chuck Wicks, Nancy Sirianni, Samantha Landrum, Blue Sky Riders, and even Daniels himself.

Each artist performed their own unique rendition of a [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Paul McCartney[/lastfm] song, as well as select songs from their respective catalogs. The concert ended up being a huge success and can now be enjoyed for your listening pleasure in your own home, with proceeds from album sales going to the aforementioned charity founded by Dr. Alicia Alvarez, which promotes prevention, lifestyle awareness, enhances available health services and advocates advanced breast cancer and children’s cancer research.

“Let Us In” Nashville - A Tribute To Linda McCartney, is out November 21st via Reviver Music. The event was also filmed for a live DVD, release date TBA. Click here to learn more about the goodwill campaign.
