Johnny Gill ‘Still Winning’ Decades Later

Veteran R&B crooner [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Johnny Gill[/lastfm] has been in the music business for over three decades. Gill returns with his six solo album and first in 15 years.

The album “Still Winning” proves his timeless sound has not faltered over the years. Gill, who is now 45, was part of the iconic boy band [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]New Edition[/lastfm] and has managed to reincarnate himself through R&B fellow crooners, the late Eddie Levert and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Keith Sweat[/lastfm] with the urban R&B trio [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]LSG[/lastfm]. But Gill has had equally impressive results in his solo career, including a successful string of hits such as: “Let’s Get the Mood Right”, “The Floor”, “Fair Weather Friend”, “My, My, My”, “Rub You Down the Right Way”, Slow & Sexy” and many others.

Loaded with many songs that are destined to become R&B classics such as “In the Mood” and “Black Box” Still Winning places Gill among an elite sensational group of singers who remain true to music and the platform of R&B.

For Gill, it’s all about winning and vocally, he will still show you, decades later, how and why he is still doing so.

My friends thinks i’m madly in love with you but it’s the voice no other artist gives me chills or takes my mind body and soul like your voice does you have to love and appreciate music & talent and you got it.
