Few bands make it far enough to celebrate 35 years in the business. Of those who make it that far, even fewer retain the ability to create vibrant, original new music. [lastfm]Los Lobos[/lastfm] don’t seem to show any of the effects of time. Their latest album Tin Can Trust is being hailed as one of their best ever, and they are as in-demand as they’ve ever been on the live touring circuit. They’ve even got a song being covered on a certain high-profile rock record coming out this fall (ahem – Robert Plant).
